DR. Anne Dölemeyer
Participation & Conflict Resolution
Inclusion and Participation
Anne knows that moderating is never just about the people on stage, it’s about the entire room. Whether in a citizen dialogue, a symposium, or a public debate, she creates spaces where participation, genuine exchange, and respectful disagreement become possible.
Her events are designed to make everyone part of the conversation, using both physical and digital space to foster interaction and collective insight.
Research, Teaching & Conflict Resolution
As a political scientist and trained conflict mediator, Anne sees controversy not as a threat but as a driving force for progress. Constructive conflict, she says, is a necessary and valuable step towards shaping a world worth living in. Her topics include democracy and participation, civic education, citizen engagement, politics of memory, and ideologies of inequality.
Anne draws on more than 20 years of experience in research, teaching, conflict resolution, and civil society activism.
Across Cultures & Borders
Her academic path has taken her from Leipzig to Latin America, East Africa, Southern Europe, and the UK — journeys that have shaped her deep understanding of intercultural dialogue and multiple perspectives.
She moderates in both German and English, works fluently across cultures, and brings a special sensitivity to diversity and social dynamics. Her approach combines analytical depth with warmth and clarity, creating spaces where people can think, feel, and grow together.
